As a niche craft, escrow is practiced by individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds – perhaps none so diverse as that of Case Escrow receptionist and processor, Anna Frost. We were delighted to discover Anna in our search for a bright young talent, and while she is a San Diego native, she also brings widely varied experience to her position with Case.
Anna worked as a journalist at a small-town newspaper in Alaska during a two-year stint in Homer. Not surprisingly, she regales the team with amusing stories about the misperceptions lower state residents have of Alaska, as well as the peculiarities of living in a largely remote region. The wonder of Alaska would be enough to spark interest in this bright young woman, and yet the surprises continue. Following her graduation from the Culinary Institute of America, Anna was a culinary professional who has served as a pastry cook/baker in Los Angeles, New York City, Martha’s Vineyard, and on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska! In fact, you might very well have tasted food she helped prepare at one time. Her first position in a restaurant was an internship for Bernard’O Restaurant in Rancho Bernardo under the tutelage of a local master chef, and she also worked at Island Prime on Harbor Island.
Anna completed her Bachelor’s degree in journalism at Biola University in 2018, and quickly made herself indispensable as part of the production team at Case. In her free time, she enjoys – you guessed it! – reading, writing, and baking, in addition to hiking about our beautiful San Diego with her fiancé.
