Catherine has enjoyed a career in the Title and Escrow field for more than 35 years. In the course of her experience she has witnessed a variety of turns in the market, the favor and decline of specialized financing tools, and the emergence of varied market strategies. This has afforded Catherine a deep understanding of transaction mechanics and honed her performance capacity to a seamless versatility.
Her transactional experience is multifaceted, and includes residential resale (financed through institutional lending, seller carry- back loans, formal assumptions, and ‘subject-to’ agreements) condo conversions, commercial sales, and traditional and reverse exchange transactions. Catherine understands the true commitment to customer service that is essential to success in a highly competitive industry. The maxim by which she approaches all aspects of her life is, “Be proactive, not reactive.” This sentiment naturally serves as the foundation for her Case Escrow practice. Working both hard and smart over the years, Catherine has made a name for herself among the San Diego Real Estate community as one of the most highly respected Escrow Officers of the region.
Catherine was a 2012 Finalist for “Women who move the City” as the result of her extraordinary service, not only in escrow, but also to her community, having volunteered for several charities, including MOMS — a military outreach philanthropy — which remains nearest to her heart as it touches nearest to her home: her husband’s entire career has been in service to these United States. Catherine takes her professional role very seriously, yet always maintains her sense of humor as challenges arise. She is the life of Case Escrow, perhaps small in form but a giant presence, running not walking, exploding with infectious laughter, and occasionally breaking out in song! Along with the fun, Catherine is also a sensitive and caring woman who loves her family and friends. She is a devoted wife and proud mother of two beautiful daughters. Catherine lives every day of her life with passion, purpose, and a positive, ‘can do’ attitude which is instrumental to her personal success, the success of Case Escrow, and — most importantly to her — the success of those around her.
